I miss MySpace

The older I get, the more I realise that MySpace was the best social media platform. Like a lot of people, I loved it for being able to discover new music on there, but there were a few people I made friends with on there too. I liked the blog feature on there and wish I had posted more blogs on there (I had a Blogger blog at the time that I was pouring most of my thoughts into). Everyone was nice and cool on there. I don't remember anyone trolling or saying anything discriminatory. It was just good vibes.

MySpace was everything that social media should be. Social media could still be like that, if we put our mind to it. Maybe it could if we started to think more about the stuff we post online, not posting the things we wouldn't say or share in the offline world, and being kinder to both other people and ourselves. That would be a start.
